Workshop with us @ Next/ Now!

Three approaches, 3 locations – 3 days of exploration and camaraderie...
Join AADHum + NarraSpaceXR & the Soft Souls Foundry for this year's Next / Now festival at UMD. You can find us at NarraSpace (housed at MITH), AADHum in Taliaferro, and SSF at the Sandbox, on the 2nd floor of Iribe!
Andrew W. Smith will also be presenting from his recently updated LiteraryDJ project. Come check out this innovative Black DH-inflected, interactive arts installation and digital remixing engine. LiteraryDJ immerses participants in African American literary and musical heritage, while also harnessing natural language processing (NLP) and quantum computing to produce novel tools for composing computational literature. Andrew W. Smith is Visiting Research Professor at AADHum and MITH.
